    I posit that for doing something like this you want humans doing the work, not LLMs run by kids.

    It also probably doesn't hurt probably if they're on the older side by developer standards. Or at least insanely detail-oriented and being able to take pride in doing good but kind of boring work.

    it's much longer, but much more honest. if they actually wanted to "modernise" things then they'd calm the fuck down and spend three years trying to understand the current system, then design an incremental replacement.
