At the time, Musk said that there were “not enough safety redundancies in place” yet to enable autonomous functionality, but he began painting autonomy as Tesla’s ultimate ambition.

On one hand I'm tempted to say: "yes of course". On the other hand I feel like saying: even a slight amount of accuracy would be very out of place for claims involving Tesla, wouldn't it?
